Block validation confirmation speed increased in Horizon
After optimizing the logic for block validation confirmation in transactions, the validation speed increased from 2 to 10 times in tests, with each block taking from 0.25 seconds to confirm.
To confirm the validation of each block, confirmation services must be requested from 10 other Workers who are not involved in the specific transaction.
When confirming the validation of a block, a Worker must perform mathematical calculations to verify the validation's accuracy.
In a single transaction, each Worker can confirm only one block. Therefore, 500 independent Workers are required to confirm the 50 blocks involved in a transaction.
